December update opens the festive season in World of Warships

World of Warships

12/06/2023 - Wargaming kicks off the Christmas season with the December update. With the latest Winter Update, World of Warships, World of Warships: Legends, and World of Warships: Blitz will be updated with limited time content to spread a little Christmas cheer.

The holidays in Santa City offer players the opportunity to earn a wealth of festive rewards. Players can complete 20 stages, daily and weekly missions to earn exciting gifts - including the German Tier VII premium battleship Scharnhorst '43. "Salvage for Victory" will also return with 100 stages, offering new rewards across the tiers. Of particular note is the cruiser Kitakami, which has never been released since its initial testing during the 2015 beta and has since gained legendary status among players.

Between December 7 and 12, new players can discover a bonus code on the official World of Warships website that will allow new and existing players to unlock a bundle of festive goodies for their account, such as the Bismarck battleship or a permanent cloak for a Tier VIII ship!

And for Steam users, there's a free bundle from December 7-13 that includes the Tier IV Yubari!

The festive season is upon us in World of Warships: Legends

As part of the December update, players of World of Warships: Legends players can unlock an incredible array of rewards with the special event currency, including three ships and two majestic commander skins. The holiday card collection allows players to earn additional rewards, including the exclusive French Tier II premium destroyer En. Gabolde W. Additionally, players can enjoy a free Holiday Box gift pack, a three-week advent calendar with rewards such as the Winter King commander skin and new winter ships to acquire alongside four Early Access ships.

Daily rewards await players in World of Warships: Blitz

To get into the holiday spirit, World of Warships Blitz is celebrating Christmas from December 1st to 24th with various events, promotions and a special Advent calendar. Each day, players can log in to unlock numerous rewards or take part in the daily Blitz challenges to earn the coveted Santa and Elf Keys, which unlock exclusive content such as ships, cloaks, blueprints and more. Players can explore the icy battlefields with the latest map expansion - Islands of Ice - and four new ships - Huron, Tromp, Daisen and W. Virginia '41 - will also be available.

This update also brings a number of bug fixes, improvements and balance changes throughout the game.
